Bee - Observatory
The Bee-Observatory is a purpose build meeting space for human beings and honey bees.
Through the integration of observation hives into the walls of the Bee-Observatory the following improvements will be achieved:
  • weather (especially rain) independent observation
  • improved night observation
  • no protective clothing required
  • additional and better observation opportunities like olfactory and sound
  • better goethean research facility
In addition the space can be used for bee related art, educational and research seminars and activities.

I envisage to develop the honey bee garden at Oakbrook Farm and our social network further, to apply for planning permission before crowdfunding and building the Bee-Observatory.

Here is the initial proposal I handed in to the BDLT and Oakbrook Farm Team for the bee garden and observatory.
